#chunkyibopillow is knitted on a size 5 circular needle (80 cm, magic loop). You start by shaping the body before picking up stitches for the ears, arms and legs.

The knitting tension may vary slightly depending on which yarn you choose to knit with. The original yarn is double strand Sandnes Garn Double Sunday. or double thread Sandnes Garn Kos. You can choose to knit with a different yarn/yarn combination, as long as you get approximately the same knitting tension (the stitch pattern must be tight enough so that you can fill the teddy bear with wadding). Note that the number of grams you need may vary slightly depending on which yarn you knit with.

Arms, ears and legs are also knitted using the Magic Loop technique.

Knitting strength:
approx. 16-18 m per 10 cm (in width)
