Chunky Konrad Koala - Norwegian recipe

Chunky Konrad Koala is a fun and quick knit. He is perfect for your leftover yarn, and there are a whole host of yarn qualities and combinations you can use beyond the suggestions mentioned here. The most important thing is that the yarn you choose is about the same thickness as the original yarn for the pattern so that the stitch pattern is dense enough. Konrad is knitted on needle size 5 and with the magic loop technique or in the round on a 40 cm long needle. There is embroidery on the eyes and nose as well as some white embroidery on the belly and ears.
