Olga the owl is a wise and sweet creature. Olga is knitted in a fluffy yarn that makes her extra soft and gives her that little extra special touch. I have chosen to use Wild from Hip Knit Shop. This is a completely shed-free and soft yarn. For the beak and claws I have chosen to use Double Sunday. The white eyes I have knitted with 1 strand Sunday + 1 strand thin silk mohair. It is entirely possible to use other yarn qualities, but it may be a good idea to adjust the number of strands or needle size so that the stitch pattern is dense enough.
Olga is knitted originally on needles size 3.5 using the magic loop technique. There are many good instructional videos for this technique on, for example, YouTube.
